He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Toungett and Willodean Toungett; his sons, Terry L. Toungett and Sammy W. Toungett; and his sister Eloise Alsup.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Graves Toungett; his children, Robert A. Toungett and Donna Toungett Shrader; and his siblings, J. W., Bobby Toungett and Debbie Hairrell. He is also survived by Nine Grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
