He is survived by: his children, William Tyler Rushing and Andrea F. Patten (Steven) of Northport, Ala; his sisters, Lena Godwin (Charles) of DeFuniak Springs and Alice Corbin; and his grandchildren, Aidan Patten, Bryce Patten and Connor Patten. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
