He was predeceased by: his wife Leighlove Caylor Spilling; his daughter Katie Carter; his grandson Henning J. Spilling IV; his stepdaughters, Maryiah Spilling and Seasun Carter; his parents, Barbara Jones Spilling and Henning Juel Spilling Sr. Henning; and his daughter Erika.
He is survived by: his sister Erika Spilling Drouin (Joe); his son Henning Juel Spilling III (Melissa); his grandchildren, Camron Spilling, Nathan, Daniel, Austin, Cora Drouin, Gage, Lexi and Rosemary Carter; his great grandchildren, Henning V, Freya and Maryiah Spilling; and his brothers, Robert Spilling (Cinda) and John Spilling (Marilynn).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Henning's memory to Trinity Episcopal Church, PO Box 55, Gatlinburg, TN 37738.
