He is survived by: his children, Sandra Wingate (Kelly) of Mossy Head, Karen Francis of Arkansas and Gary Peterson of California; his siblings, Bill Doering (Kathy Sue) of Tennessee, Carol Williams (Fred) of Louisiana and Penny Kelly of Mossy Head, Florida; his grandchildren, Kristopher Wingate (Dora), Amanda Hafer (Will), Julie Paliza (Daniel) and David Francis; and his great grandchildren, Mariah, Joseph, William Jr., Dorian and Kyra.
