It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Gibson Forbes Shover of Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Forbes and Clara Forbes of Logan; and her brother Gordon Forbes. She is survived by : her husband Ronald Shover; her sister Caroline Forbes; her children, Veronica Ellis (Allen) of Virginia, Harold Shover (Gwendolyn) and Harry Shover of DeFuniak Springs; and her grandchildren, Adrianna Shover, Laramie Shover, Brittany Shover of DeFuniak Springs and Stephanie Ellis of Virginia. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
