Janet Taylor Sigler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2025, at the age of 79, Janet Taylor Sigler of Williamstown, West Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Taylor Sigler to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, R. William "Bill" Taylor and Esther Taylor (Papach); her former husband Doyle E. Young; and her sister Patricia Holder. She is survived by: her husband George Philip "Phil" Sigler III; her daughters, Sharon Edwards (Will) of Arlington, VA and Elizabeth Cone (Bryan) of Asheboro, NC; and her grandchildren, Erik, Caroline, Kathryn, Justin, Adelaide and Winnie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen - Summerhill Memorial Chapel. A wake will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (359 New York Ave W, DeLand, FL 32720). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Oakdale Cemetery (800 N Clara Ave, DeLand, FL 32720).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Doyle E. and Janet T. Young Endowed Memorial Scholarship via the FSU Foundation at Florida State University.
