He is survived by: his wife Janet Lee Smith; his children, Steven Jay Smith, Jennifer Lynn Almodovar and Karen Susan Smith; and his siblings, Mike Smith, Ann Cornell, Kitty Cornell, Rose Nudd, Elaine Strader and Lynn Frazier.
