It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Mae Davis of East Palatka, Florida, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Harris and Joel Stephens; her husband Henry Davis, Sr.; her sons, Alvin, Neamon, Clarence and Nathaniel Davis; her grandchildren, Charles Davis, Lorenzo Varnes, Victor Howard and Tiffany Jones; her stepdaughter Henrietta Ponder; and her children-in-law, Kenneth Saunders and Brenda Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Saunders, Gloria Davis, Louella Davis, Magnolia Denson (Johnny), Ora Jean Davis, Rudolph Davis, Kenneth Davis and Harry Davis; her stepdaughters, May Francis Bryant and Jeanette Johnson; her brother David Stephens; and her close friend Algertha Major. She is also survived by other relatives including 49 grandchildren, 86 great grandchildren, and 31 great great grandchildren and many other close friends.
