He was predeceased by : his parents, Alice Carmichael and Thomas Churchill Sr.; his former life partner Barbara; his wife Genevieve; and his siblings, Dale Churchill, Lois Churchill and Jerome Churchill.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Jesse, Katie Sawyer and Dontea Ayres; his great grandchild Kaden Ayres; his sister Wilma Hoyt of Chelsea, Maine; and his sister-in-law Erica Churchill of Wade, Maine..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
