She is survived by : her husband Gary Berger of Fernandina Beach, FL; her sister Nancy Boone-Braga of San Diego, CA; her nieces, Lisa Krekler of Vista, CA and Kimberly Boone of Escondido, CA; her stepchildren, Bryce Berger of Glen Rock, NJ and Marci Berger of Tacoma, WA; her stepgrandchildren, Toby, Kyla and Ellis; and her great-nephews, Jacob and Drew.

In lieu of flowers she wished for people to donate to The DONNA Foundation and the Nassau County Humane Society.
