Dennis I. Scherr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis I. Scherr of Fernandina Beach, Florida, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on June 2, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Sylvan "Jerry" and Lena "Lee" Scherr (Goldberg); and his friend Maurice Schochet. He is survived by : his sibling Jewelers; his wife Peggy Hennessey Scherr of Fernandina Beach; his children, Amy Vander Veer (Shaun) of Westminister, MD, Laura Seidman (Matthew) of Wellington, FL and Brian Scherr of Finksburg, MD; his siblings, Meyer "Mickey" Scherr (Charlotte) of Baltimore, MD and Lisa Scherr (Tom Sinor) of Fernandina Beach; his grandchildren, Caleb, Addie, Olivia and Mia; his siblings, Danny, Kathleen, Sarah and Mary; and his friends, Dr. Craig, Bonnie Dickman (Holtzman), Jan Rosenthal and Dennis. He is also survived by other extended family members including aunts, cousins, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
