He was predeceased by : his son Trung Tran. He is survived by : his wife Hue Thi Nguyen; and his children, Minh Tran, Khai Tran, Hang Tran, Cuc Tran, Truc Tran, Ha Tran, Huong Tran and Trang Dinh. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
