He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian "Tigger" Megonegal; and his son Richard R. Megonegal. He is survived by: his children, Nina Wunderlich (Tony), Eric Sather and Wayne Megonegal; his granddaughters, Emily Wilson (Blake), Krista and Rachel Sather; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Madeline Joyner and Virginia Hall (Mark).
