She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacqueline J. Miller and Walter J. Kukla; and her brother Walter Kukla. She is survived by: her husband Richard Chadwell Jr. (Chip); her sons, David Gayes (Julie) and Nick Gayes (Kari); her grandchildren, Emerson, Eva, Katharine and Niko; her stepchildren, Reganne and Anders Chadwell; and her brothers, Tom, John and Chris Kukla.
Faye shifted her focus to education and served as the Executive Director of the Indiana Hospitality and Tourism Foundation from 1998-2001.
