He is survived by: his children, James Wears (Claire), William Wears (Ted), Douglas Harvill, Sharon Oakes and Kathryn Connolly (Martin); his daughter-in-law Dianne Wears; his grandchildren, Matthew Wears (Zahara), Sarah Garcia (Danny) and Zachary Harvill; and his great grandchildren, Eva Garcia, Luke Wears, Manuel Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Robert Garcia and Atticus Wears.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name to either the Salvation Army or the Dr. Robert Lewis Wears Memorial Fund.
