She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Karow and Helen Karow (Mattes); her husband Allan Hamel; and her daughter Nancy. She is survived by: her sister Janet Proctor (Ben); her children, Linda Pobocik and Timothy Hamel (Tammy); her grandchildren, Richard, Julie, Joseph and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Emma and Judah.
