She is survived by : her brother David Sidney McCarty, Jr. (Judy) of Rocky Mount, Virginia; her nephews, Paul Sidney McCarty (Amy) of Lynchburg and Wesley David McCarty of Rocky Mount, Virginia; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlotte Alice, Myra Pearl, John Elliott and Darby Lewis; her sons, William Clay Gilbert (Stephanie) and Joseph Andrew Gilbert (Brooke); and her cousins, Virginia Hutton, Charles McCarty, Jr., Kim Frischkorn Condyles, Hunter H. Frischkorn, Jim Frischkorn, John H. Frischkorn, Charlotte Frischkorn, Paige Frischkorn and Annette Frischkorn White.
