As Hal departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Hal. Though Hal may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Barnes and Margaret Vick Barnes Coston. He is survived by: his spouse Francisco Andre Rabelo; and his siblings, Lisa Barnes Flanagan, Linda Barnes Hall and James H. Barnes, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and two beautiful godchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fort Lauderdale Women's Club (20 S Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fort Lauderdale Women's Club in Hal's honor.
