He was predeceased by: his wife Charlene Doonan; his parents, Thomas Doonan and Margaret Doonan; his siblings, James, William, John and Mary Pultz; and his brother-in-law Lloyd T. Williams.

He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Doonan, Patrick Doonan (Anna), Ann Morpeth (Howard) and Margaret Doonan (Peggy); and his siblings-in-law, Clifford Pultz, May Hajas (Lew), Frieda Stewart (John), Marjorie Powers (Jim), Diana Williams, Winston Williams (Gwen) and Willard Williams (Willie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
