With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven F Nickerson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Steven is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Steven's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Corwin Nickerson and Cressie Gae Stevenson (Kryss); his sisters, Deborah Gae Brightbill and Barbara Lyn Hamel; and his son James Steven Nickerson.
He is survived by: his former wife Christina Miller Nickerson of Denver; his daughter Lea Christine Nickerson; his son-in-law James Reason; his grandson Noah Nickerson Reason; and his brother Corwin Alan Nickerson.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home (718 S Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316).
