He was predeceased by : his parents, William Woods and Victoria Woods; his brother William (Marie); and his children, Janice Woods Haussmann (Louie) and William S. Woods (Kathy).

He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Woods (McNally); his sister-in-law Patricia McNally; his brother Charles (Betty); his sons, Pete (Dee) and Edward (Cindi); and his grandchildren, Robert, William, Benjamin, Samantha (Sal), Dan, Maddie (Luke), Kyle, Teddy, Alison and Beth (Mark). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
