Alice Lucille May Dorigo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Lucille May Dorigo of Fort Myers, Florida, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Serentha and Mary Jane "Jennie" Serentha; her spouse Giovachino "Jack" Dorigo; and her sisters, Gabriella Serentha and Grace DeAngelis (Vince).
She is survived by: her children, Jack Dorigo (Michelle) and Denise Dorigo Jones (Bob); her grandchildren, Bobby (Caitlin), Jack (Jessica), Johnny, Joey (Kate) and Nina; her great grandchild Jack Patrick (JP); and her sibling's children, Charlene Fairleigh (late Chuck), Jimmy DeAngelis (Lynn Panasci) and Carolyn DeAngelis. She is also survived by her children's and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home, Northrop-Sassaman Chapel (19091 Northville Road, Northville, MI 48168). A rosary will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Northrop-Sassaman Chapel (19091 Northville Road, Northville, MI 48168). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home, Northrop-Sassaman Chapel (19091 Northville Road, Northville, MI 48168).
Donations in her memory may be made to Pinkerton Center for Blind Children in Taylor, Michigan, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Detroit Catholic Central High School in Novi, Michigan.
