It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wendell Haynes of Fort Myers, Florida, born in Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Haynes and Olga Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Carol Martin Haynes; his children, Dennis Haynes (Missy), Lorie Anne Bryant (Andy) and Byron Haynes (Patty); his grandchildren, Cody Haynes, Kelly Rady (Duncan), Nick, Natalie, Naomi Bryant, Kellsey DeLong (Josh), Alesia, Lauren, Jonathan and Grant Shucavage; Lori Browne (David), Caroline Shucavage (Bernard), Delilah DeLong and Emersyn Shucavage.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charles's name to the Fort Myers Seventh-Day Adventist Church for the music department.
