He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Henry and Mildred Olive Elgin (Smith); and his sister Nancy Elgin Sparks. He is survived by: his brother John Elgin (Marilyn) of Upper Sandusky; his sibling's children, Carol Morin of San Antonio, Cheryl Gelbaugh (Ken) of Upper Sandusky and Douglas Elgin (Missy) of Fort Myers; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Scott Gelbaugh (Tanielle), Gwen Adams (Keith), JC Elgin, Kimberly Scoby (Travis), Marshall Elgin, Amber Morin (Esequiel), Stephany Elgin and Nicholas Morin; and also, Alex, Hayden, Evan, Luke, John Silas, Eliseo, John Henry, Emillie and Brooke.
