It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Patrick Wentt (Fort Myers, Florida), who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Wentt and Lenora E. Wentt; and his son Jason Alexander Wentt. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Wentt, Rashad Wentt, Kamaria Wentt, Dominique Wentt and Patricia Wentt; his grandchildren, Shayla M. Patrick (Kelly), Roman, Ryann, Ezrah (Dominique), Promyse and Pryce; and his brother Mark Wentt.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the National Cancer Society, Disabled American Veterans, and Vietnam Veterans of America, organizations close to Patrick's heart.
