He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Shelton Barley Sr. and Patricia Ann McGill of Fort Myers Florida. He is survived by : his brother Shelton; his wife Sandy; and his children, Blake (Daughter) and Amy. He is also survived by his siblings, and many nieces and nephews he considered his children.
