He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Schinkel and Hilda Schinkel (Torwalt); his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Dick and Judy.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Schinkel (Carol) of Vancouver Island, BC, Karen Degler (Michael) of Fort Myers and Steven Schinkel (Helen) of Raleigh; his siblings, Ruben Schinkel (Rita) of Fergus, Myra Moyer (Lawrence) of Vineland, David Schinkel (Richard) of Toronto, Ricky Schinkel (Margaret) of Winnipeg and Manitoba; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle (Christine), Samantha (Ben), Lucas, Troy, Riley, Clement and Spencer (Riley); and his great grandchildren, Baxden and Charles.
