She was predeceased by: her husband Craig Gardiner; her parents, James B. Stickler and Ima Stickler (Roberts) of East Liverpool; and her brothers, James Filkins and Randy Stickler.

She is survived by: her siblings, Roger Stickler (Dawn) of East Liverpool, Sheila Jennings of Columbus, Georgia and Regina Romano of Fort Myers, Florida; her children, Daniel Houck of Woodbury and Brianna Sims (Kyle) of Bloomingdale, Ohio.; and her grandchildren, Abby, Danny Houck, Taylor, Alexis See and Chase Sims. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
