She was predeceased by: her father Victor Manuel Cartagena; her former husband Angel Luis Rivera Sr.; her daughter Luz Virginia Ventura; and her siblings, Elizabeth Cartagena, Sonia Vazquez, Lorenzo Vazquez Jr., Osvaldo Vazquez and Humberto Vazquez.

She is survived by: her mother Virginia Vazquez; her husband Lorenzo; her siblings, Mary, Carmen, Isabella, Nikita Vazquez and Carlos Vazquez; and her children, Carmen Seay (Johnny), Nelson Ventura Jr. (Allison), Rosa Avila (Paul Sr.), Angel Rivera Jr. (April), Alejandro Rivera Sr. (Sharell) and A'Amillion Rivera.
