He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy; his sister-in-law Anne; his sister Mary Hamil; his brother-in-law Mickey; his brother Tom; his sister-in-law Peggy; and his daughter-in-law Diana Connolly (Zehrer).
He is survived by: his parents, James Peter Connolly of Wellpark and Galway Connolly; his wife Mary (Moore) of Terenure; his children, Jarlath Connolly (Marisa Tamayo) of Canton, CT, Aidan Connolly (Roberto Achacoso) of New York and Los Angeles; his siblings, Joan Deering (Frank) of Ratoath and Jarlath (Anne) of Drim; his grandchildren, Erica, Liam, Brian and Kathleen; and also, Margaret "Maud" Connolly (Flannery) of Milltown, Dublin and Meath. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
