He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Garcia and Martina Lugo; his siblings, Paul Garcia and Ida Garcia; his children, Mark Garcia, Melissa Ann Garcia and Robin Lynn Ortiz (Rey Ortiz); his siblings, Raymond Garcia, LeeRoy Garcia, Rene Garcia and Irene Garcia; and his grandchildren, Jacob Pedraza, Aaron Ortiz, Aaliyah R. Rodriguez, Aaliyah E. Ortiz, Ava Barraza, Skylar Ortiz and Devyn Ortiz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rivera Funeral Home (1901 Pecan Blvd, McAllen, TX 78501). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (2209 Kendlewood Ave, McAllen, TX 78501). A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Valley Memorial Gardens (3605 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
