Stephen Joseph Markus III Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Joseph Markus III in Fort Myers, Florida, born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen Joseph Markus III to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Markus (Szabo) and Stephen Joseph Markus II; and his sisters, Olga Kuchma and Alice Davis. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Giammanco Markus; his child Ryan Markus (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Bryson and Bella; his daughter Trisha Gil (Carlos); his grandchildren, Carlos Jr., Giana, Tara and Madison; his brother William Markus (Viola); and his brother-in-law Anthony Giammanco (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Stephen's memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting our nation's heroes and their families.
