He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Fenimore and Mildred Fenimore; his former wife Elizabeth (Dennis); his wife Gayle (Stanley); his sister Audrey (Wright); and his grandchildren, Jill Ann Fenimore and Chance Fenimore Rivero.
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert, Donald and Randolph Fenimore; his half-brother John Heene; his son Charles Russell Fenimore (Rusty); his grandchildren, Martha Elizabeth Fenimore (Marti), Katherine LaCoste (Adam), Patrick Fenimore (Amanda) and Raine Rivero; his great grandchildren, Brady, Trace LaCoste and Madison Fenimore; and his daughter Lynn M Elliott (Bryan) of Greeneville, TN.
