He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Marie Stanford Gillespie; his children, Gybe Michelle Gillespie and Tack Douglas Gillespie; his brothers, Robert W. Gillespie, Jr. (Josette Cassiere) of Bossier City and Frederick D. Gillespie (Holly Leitch) of Houston; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Clark Gillespie and Leigha Langston Gillespie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
