She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Malone and Stella Malone; her husband Col. Al Babineau; and her nephew Christopher Kirby. She is survived by: her daughters, Katharine Guarding Broussard (Rusty) and Denise Guarino Dierker (David); her grandchildren, Drew Dierker, Dodge Dierker, Josephine Broussard and Vivienne Broussard; her sister Wanda Kirby (Paul); and her sibling's children, Jeremy Kirby (Becky) and Rebekah Kirby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
