She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert "Dobbin" McCrary and Elizabeth McCrary. She is survived by : her husband Gary Ballentine; her son David McCrary of Frostproof; and her sisters, Connie Morrie (John) of Frostproof and Kimberly Dease of Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
