He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Brant and Pauline Brant (Cram). He is survived by: his children, Judith Brant of Visalia, CA, Wendy Thompson (Greg) of Chapel Hill, NC, Gerald Brant, Jr. of Frostproof, FL and Stacy Turner of Durham, NC; and his sister Catherine Pierce (Richard) of Lindley, NY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
