While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Chesser Blocker and Joseph Allen Blocker; and his siblings, John and Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Blocker; and his children, David (Jennifer), Allen (Sandra), Bonnie (Brian) and Sherry (Richard). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rest Funeral Home Chapel (2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Russell Haven (2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Hickory Grove Cemetery (3650 Russell Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043).
