She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Horsley and Ollie Carrol Horsley; her husband Jack Layfield; and her children, Bill Layfield, Jack Layfield, Barbara Holland, Elaine Cooper and Amy Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Layfield, David Layfield (Cherry Thacker), James Layfield (Kay) and Robin Cranford (Donald). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Russell Haven (2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043).
