He was predeceased by : his parents, John Leonard Loner and Ruth R. Thomason; his wife Eleanor Prevatt Loner; his daughter Denise Bewley; and his grandchildren, Wes Loner and Nikki Jolley.

He is survived by : his grandson Steve; his close friends, Frank Cox, Charles Todd, Doc Turner and Al Ivey; his friend Sonny Hyatt; his children, Steve, Joy and Robyn; and his brother John. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Nikki's "Jolley" fund at McRae Elementary.
