He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Thompson and Garnet Thompson; and his siblings, John, Fred Thompson and Kenna Castleberry.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Thompson; his children, Bruce Thompson, Jr. (Sarah), Billie Jo Anderson (Joe) and Tabitha Sage; his grandchildren, Lacy Allen (Kendell) of Larry Starratt, III, Matthew Thompson, Amber Triggiano (Mike), Makailla McEachern (Jesse), Gracie Chancellor, Chase and Charlee Anderson; his great grandchildren, Iloria, Ian, Lorenzo Triggano and Carter Starratt; his sisters, Jackie Rosier, Jane Bennett (Bobby) and Buggie Riner (Woody); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Thompson and Marvin Castleberry. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
