He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Clayton and Lillian Hodges Howard; and his stepson Wynn Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Martha Heatwole Howard; his daughter Christin Holton (Cecil); his siblings, Glenn Howard (Lynn) and Annette Dilgard (Paul); his stepdaughters, Jenna Fletcher (David) and Brenda Heatwole; and his grandchildren, Zachariah Hixon, Michael Fletcher, Melissa Fletcher, Jared Fletcher, Jordan Fletcher and Madison Holton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
