He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Porter Howard and Barbara Joyce Howard; and his brother Harold Howard. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Howard; his stepchildren, Johnny Currin (Debbie), Ginny Lynn Ritchie, Susan Mortimer (Shawn), George Currin (Sherrie) and David Currin; and his brother Jeffrey Howard. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
