She was predeceased by: her father Edwin L. Simmons. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jada Marie Crews, Zachary Scott Crews, Tayla Leanne Crews, Mary Elizabeth Batten and Brooklyn Rose Batten; her mother Betty Melba Barnard Simmons; and her siblings, David Wayne Simmons (Karen) and Deborah Ann Sheffield (Wayne). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
