She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Conlon and Helen Worby Conlon; her brother Thomas; her sister-in-law Nobu Conlon; her brother Francis; her siblings-in-law, Esther Conlon and Joseph Spieker; and her grandson James Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband James Hughes; her children, Mark Hughes (Patricia) of Annapolis, John Glen Hughes (Cindy) of Jupiter, Maria Carlton (Brian) of Jupiter and Gary Hughes (Linda); her grandchildren, Michele Rudnicki (Josh), Nicholas Hughes (Justine), Michael Vitale (Hilary), Mallory Kasapakis (Sampson), Allyson Bollinger (Edward), Shelby Warford (Zachary) and Matthew Hughes; and her sister Theresa Spieker. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
