She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Janet Streigold and Marvin Streigold; her husband Gary Newman; her children, Janet, Sarah Newman and Preston Newman; her brother Alan Streigold (Maria); her nephew Jared Streigold (Clarissa); her niece Catie Streigold Vasquez (Jordan); and her great-nephew Maxwell Vasquez.

“Cindy was a great fighter and never gave up. We really enjoyed her and Gary coming to our apartment in Palm Beach, Florida. She gave us an update on her condition when we spoke on the phone. Her husband Gary and her children were always there taking care of her when she needed them and she loved them for it. Now her fight is over and she will be resting along side of her Mother Janet and her Father Marvin. May she finally rest in peace. Love, Shelly and Harold Schwartz”
