He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie and Violet; his siblings, Annette (Deany), Owen and Oscar; and his granddaughter Haleigh.
He is survived by: his spouse Apstead Joy Thomas; his siblings, Yvonne Fong (Moye), Angela Fong-Craig (Marcie), Michelle Fong-Goldson (Suzy), Diane Fong, Junior Fong, Trevor Fong, David Fong, Lincoln Fong, Mark Fong Morris (Marky), Guy Ramsahai (Ricky), Rhoan Ramsahai, Maureen Ramsahai (Phil), Christina Ramsahai (Chrissy) and Claudette Richards; his children, Michael Hugh Fong, Christopher Warren Fong and Karen Stacy Fong-Roberts; his grandchildren, Kristian Alexis Fong, Gabrielle Hannah Roberts (Gabby), Logan Sierra Roberts and Hunter Tai Roberts; and his great grandchild Kayden Mekhi Pouncey.
