She was predeceased by: her daughter Aletha Ray. She is survived by: her children, Earl McKinney Jr., LaRue McKinney, Rick McKinney (Maria) and Gia Thompson (Alex). She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
