It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter L. Gergely Sr. of Homosassa, Florida, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Steven Gergely and Wilma Gergely (Gorgy); and his siblings, Steve, Andy, Don, Shon, Grace, Ann and Wilma.

He is survived by : his children, Wally Jr. (Anni), Ginger Murphy (Tim), Lisa Doughman (Brian), Kristin Halloran and Jill Kreis (John). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
