He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Morgaro Aponte and Odesta Santiago; and his children, Carlos Aponte, Angelo Aponte, Edwin Aponte, Lydia Luciano, Sara Bermudez, Rosa Fernandez, Carmen Pasqual and Diana Aponte. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, son and daughter-in-laws and extended family.
